Dead Season

A fantastic zombie turn-based tactics game. I wish they would make DLC or a sequel. It does everything right. The controls are simple, the combat is fair and engaging, and best of all, it's the only tactical zombie game I've played that doesn't make me pitch a tent and track my stupid canned goods storage.

I really enjoy this game. I think taking a zombie survival game and making it a turn based tactical works extremely well. if there was a complaint to be had, it would be over the length. I would love to see this game get either DLC to add more to the main campaign story OR a Dead Season 2. overall solid experience, did not encounter any bugs either which is extremely impressive for a solo Dev (at least not so fav). Hell when it comes to turn based tactical games, no bugs is almost unheard of even among major studios. Very good game, highly recommend.

I'm a sucker for zombie games. I really like this. I cant recall another drop down zombie game like this so I think this is worth the price. I bought it for less then 7 dollars. Really enjoyable and you could replay this game over and over to get different loot and you could change the difficulty as well! I played on the easiest difficulty and it was a struggle because I had to shoot a bit so if you put this game on the highest difficulty I think most people would find this game as a challenge . Spoilers and what I would like to see ! The game can be completed in 1 day so keep this in mind but as mentioned before you can play this game multiple times to get different loot etc! I would have loved to see this game be a bit longer. This game can be completed in 5 to 8 hours . I would have loved to see this game have more missions and the time frame be at least 20 hours long.

I love zombie and strategy/tactical games, but this one is just not it. I always play on the hardest difficulty, so I can't comment on why other review says this game is too easy. The HIT chance percentage is definitely against the player. I like clearing out areas, but this game mechanic (or at least on the hardest difficulty) has zombies continuously spawning. And even if you manage to keep killing zombies as they spawn, there's really no reward for doing so. Not a fan of that. The story is meh. Overall, I would not recommend this game unless you got it on a super sale price.

Outstanding tactical turn based goodness, post apocalypse and zombies. Winning all the way. Gorgeous graphics, mood inspiring sounds, solid action point based mechanics, variation in zombie types, different scenarios ith cool mechanics. Buy it and play now if you love turn based tactics!
