The air hangs heavy with the stench of decay - a grim reminder of the world's rapid descent into chaos. Streets once bustling with life now lay deserted, haunted by the shuffling footsteps of the undead. A random group of four survivors find themselves thrown together by their shared struggle for survival, in a world overrun by the zombie hordes. Their faces etched with weariness and determination mirror the dark and harsh realities they face.
In this single-player turn-based tactics game, take control of this band of survivors as they navigate through the midst of a zombie infestation, scavenging for resources and completing objectives, while confronting the endless threat of the undead, and surviving through narrow escapes and close calls.
UNFORGIVING TURN-BASED COMBAT: Survive at all costs as you complete objectives and escape dangerous situations with weapons you scavenge along the way. Level up and unlock new abilities to survive even in harsher environments.

I really enjoy this game. I think taking a zombie survival game and making it a turn based tactical works extremely well. if there was a complaint to be had, it would be over the length. I would love to see this game get either DLC to add more to the main campaign story OR a Dead Season 2. overall solid experience, did not encounter any bugs either which is extremely impressive for a solo Dev (at least not so fav). Hell when it comes to turn based tactical games, no bugs is almost unheard of even among major studios. Very good game, highly recommend.1 found this helpful
I'm a sucker for zombie games. I really like this. I cant recall another drop down zombie game like this so I think this is worth the price. I bought it for less then 7 dollars. Really enjoyable and you could replay this game over and over to get different loot and you could change the difficulty as well! I played on the easiest difficulty and it was a struggle because I had to shoot a bit so if you put this game on the highest difficulty I think most people would find this game as a challenge . Spoilers and what I would like to see ! The game can be completed in 1 day so keep this in mind but as mentioned before you can play this game multiple times to get different loot etc! I would have loved to see this game be a bit longer. This game can be completed in 5 to 8 hours . I would have loved to see this game have more missions and the time frame be at least 20 hours long.1 found this helpful
Still playing but overall I really like the art of the game, it is done really well The game polish is fairly high I do enjoy the game and will play it to the end on the next few days A couple of things that I would want to improve are: First of all it is too slow, add a setting that all enemies will play at the same time or find another way to make it faster, I feel like the flow is too slow I think that the character perks should have more varaiety, I dont feel like I really need some of them (got ot rank 8 now) The ones that are different really make things more interesting for me The difficulty is not that hard, I am playing on the most difficult one, I think it lacks the challenge as my characters rarely get hit, Most other games in the genera make me cry on hard difficulty Items are fun, even losing them is ok, making me want to find new ones, but there aren't really many to find that are better, I think 1 or 2 more items with ammo are required and more than 1 jacket type, I should feel like I always have something more to find in the game maybe give me a backpack that I can carry more items on a character or a vest that let me quick reload once per battle or …1 found this helpful
I would not recommend this game. I generally don't do the whole 'negative' review thing unless something is seriously wrong. But this isn't a 'bad' game, and I want to say that. Personally I just felt bored playing through it.1 found this helpful
This game has a lots of potential, we need more update. For now it's only 5-7 hours of gameplay.
Dead Season is a simple short and sweet game. I am a veteran of this type of strategy game having played every Xcom, Miasma Chronicles, Mutant Year Zero, and Hard West, so of course this game grabbed my interest. It doesn’t do anything new that those games haven’t, in fact it is kind of lacking features. In terms of unique features from other games in the genre it has this “pass” feature where you can toss an item to another survivor and it is neat but I don’t think it is used to its full potential. I would have liked it if there were more scenarios where I found I needed to use the feature rather than just have Matt be my runner for objectives once I unlocked the Dash ability. That leads into an issue with abilities. The games I previously listed have cool unlockable abilities that have great impacts on movement or big swing turns to kill many enemies. This game has a lack of active abilities AKA zero active abilities. Every ability is passive and some come into play if you make some decisions. Like everyone can unlock Patience which activates when you end a turn with at least 1AP. However it is not unique to any one character to I got that for everyone ASAP. Each character onl…
