Story
Set in an apocalyptic 1986, the survivors of a zombie outbreak live on among the remains of human civilization, trying to survive this hell on earth by any means necessary. You play Randall Wayne, an introverted and slightly paranoid survivor searching the destroyed streets of Seattle for his loved ones. Through tense platforming and life-threatening zombie encounters you must decide whether to use scarce ammunition and weapons to decimate the horde, or navigate the environment to sneak past them and hide. There’s more than one way to survive against the walking undead remains of the human race, now known only as ‘shadows’.
Deadlight: Director’s Cut enhances the original Deadlight in every way. Improved visuals and textures bring even more detail to the remnants of Seattle, plus enhanced controls and new animations make Randall even more agile. Now you must fight for your life and put your survival skills to the test in Deadlight: Director’s Cut new game mode, the ‘Survival Arena’.

I bought this game very cheaply at some point, and it has been sitting deep in my backlog ever since. I finally decided to give it a shot because of its unique art style and interesting concepts. I've always been a sucker for 2.5D cinematic platformers, and the story here is actually pretty decent, along with the memorable characters you meet along the journey. However, the severe technical issues completely ruined the experience for me. [h1]Gameplay, Story & Atmosphere[/h1] At first glance, the premise might seem overused - a zombie apocalypse set in Seattle where you play as just another survivor. What makes it unique, though, is its presentation as a 2.5D cinematic platformer featuring a surprisingly diverse arsenal of weapons scattered throughout the environment. The atmosphere is dark, gritty, and truly captures the bleak essence of the end of the world. The characters refer to the undead as "shadows," and boy, can they overwhelm you quickly. You always have to stay on your toes, constantly deciding whether a fight is worth taking or if it's better to just run. i recently played replaced and i loved it. i wanted something similar and deadlight came across! its a very nice game with nice atmosphere, but still has issues. some bugs here and there and already crashed 2 times! i recommend it for a low price!
The game is great
played this many moons ago when it was free on Xbox 360 games with gold back in 2014. it's just as good as I remember it.
If u dont have a controller, using the pad only wont be much friendly, should have been fixed by now but seems they don't care, was was more fun in Xbox
