suck. the game keeps crashing

Garbage. Zombies magically spawn behind you right when you downed an enemy human looter only to turn him into another zombie. Something about this game just doesn't sit right. Combat feels wonky as hell. Not for me.

8.5/10 flawed masterpiece. so flawed, so masterpiece. wish the devs would make something else but looks like they moved on. here this game sits. it belongs to the ages.

Has the fundamentals for a fun game, however it feels realistic in its survival and management aspects, but when you enter combat you will miss ALL the time, and your enemies will rarely miss even if they're blind or dizzy. Zombies you can understand taking some punishment but when human enemies (which are somehow AS COMMON AS THE UNDEAD) take like 3 hits to the face with a sledgehammer without feeling a sweat? Unplayable. Also unplayed because it crashes ALOT.

I love this game. It just makes me so happy. For fans of tactical games and of narrative heavy RPGS it's a no brainer. The only issue is that the game is now so old it has issues playing on newer versions of windows. But if you can get it to play it's a joy!
