A pretty nice game, but not outstanding. Everything about the game is average at best, albeit not in a boring way. It's fun, interesting, and enjoyable to play through. Some character designs, art and locations are interesting, but as I've said, nothing exceptional. Although I was experiencing joy playing it, the whole plot isn't that special and is easily forgettable. The one drawback I have to point out is the unresponsive controls. They're mostly just annoying, but there's a specific bossfight with
Niel
where it makes the game just putrid ass.2 found this helpful
WARNING: if you're playing this for the first time, don't play it on max difficulty (one hit death) like I did. The unreliability of the combat made it very frustrating. I still managed to beat it, but it took many, many deaths. Also, it appears to supports controller, but doesn't seem to have a button for combat stance. So you'll need to use keyboard, or Joy2Key. I bought this on sale. Like the dev's previous game Tide Up (which I haven't played yet) this looks quite different from RPGMaker games I've played before, so I was curious to try it and see how different. It's much more akin to a Survival Horror game than a regular RPG. It's obvious that the dev really pushed the engine to its limits, which is quite impressive to me. Anyway, it was interesting and I enjoyed it. Great presentation, atmosphere, etc. The only really bad things are the jankiness of the combat, which is presumably forgivable outside of max difficulty (because you can heal) and as others have said, the story is a little lacking, particularly in the endings (in my opinion). It's also a somewhat short game, which I don't mind because I got it at half price. Note that I didn't use one of the major upgrade syst…1 found this helpful

Story is very interesting and the ending was so unique. I loved the mechanics to fight, made the game even more fun!
It's a pretty good game, it's clear Gustav put a lot of effort into it. It is somewhat marred by minor technical difficulties (so don't bother achievement hunting, you'll just get overly annoyed), but otherwise it's a worthwile experience. The character building is particularly engrossing. If you have never played any of Gustav's games, make sure to pick up Cat in The Box first. It still remains the best one.
The game is alright. Best parts were Ceena and the secret end. Ceena's the GOAT. Do it for Korea.
