About debris

COLLECT

Use the NavComp of your drone to locate debris, get there, grab it without getting destroyed and pray that you'll make it home in literally one piece.

BUILD

Every scrap of metal you find was once a satellite. Repurpose the past to secure the future. You can use resources to build modules for the best drone ever... or the worst one, you will come to know, once you try.
The station isn't going to stay the same either, build greenhouses, solar panels and more to stay alive.

MANAGE

Always monitor your resources! You don't want to starve, suffocate or dehydrate to death!
Having no power seems tame in comparison.
If you do your job well you have enough resources to build the modules you need... also you won't suffocate... or starve or be dehydrated... which is good, at least Ground Control says so.

There is always a decision to make
Should I craft this or that

DYNAMIC STORY

Your actions influence what is happening, so the story of debris can be experienced multiple times! You may realize some things if you do so,  everything is connected you know. Every debris tells a piece of the story, every action you take influences the orbit. Take wise actions to save you, your station and mars. You are free to do what you like, just live with the results. Debris’ story adapts to your play instead of the other way around. Amidst the chaos of colliding metal, there is a pattern. A rhythm. The destruction of the old world has created a canvas for something new. Will you fight the system, or will you rewrite it?

CONTEXT

It’s 2060 and humanity has arrived at Mars. Many satellites have been left recklessly behind still in orbit.

Now catastrophe strikes, Kesslers Syndrome has been invoked – like a nuclear explosion shards of satellites crash into other satellites creating more shards.
It’s a vicious cycle, that can only be stopped if you take the fuel away. What are you waiting for!? Every second counts, the butterfly-effect won't be waiting for you!

About the Developer

A passion project developed by a single informatics student from Vienna. Born from a fascination with the Kessler Syndrome and orbital mechanics.Hi I am Felix a student from Vienna, for now over 2 years I've been working on this passion project of mine, which all started from a walk to school with a friend.
We were thinking about the thousands of satellites in orbit and "what if they all crash?".You can experience that what-if in this game.

This is my first game that's going to release on Steam, but there are many things planned, you can take a look at my website.

If you're interested don't forget to wishlist!

You tried the demo, you have pretty much seen it all. hard to be sure as you run into station editing bug. (full game = demo?) First game on steam I have brought that I have felt I was outright scammed. A few I have not liked, but there's not a working full game Requested a refund, but auto-denied due to having over 2 hours of playtime.

I played the demo. I thought it was interesting. I bought the full game. I played the full game. I got kicked out of the full game when it said that this was the end of the demo. If I didn't buy the full game and only own the demo.... I want my money back!

It had an interesting premise, but it just feels like it was released unfinished, bug ridden and abandoned. Would love to be proven wrong.

Quite a few items have no function. Game appears to have no ending after third 'interest point' collection. Forum? Dead. Posted on the 8th, on the 13th? No responses from anyone Review? Negative.

I'm not a fan of games that constantly soft-lock due to poor programming. Too many times did I have to restart the game because the previous window didn't clear the screen or release the keyboard. I was given this as a gift from my grandson, who sold TF2 items to get it. They won't refund him due to the fact that I have too many hours with the game running. Wasn't doing anything while I spent half the game time looking for various fixes and whatnot. Buyer beware.

Very nice atmosphere and visuals! The game needs a bit of further polishing, but I like the story so far. Can recommend!
