Deck Defense has over 75 cards to unlock, including 35 towers, 12 powers, 12 spells, and 15 map pieces. Use these cards to perfect your strategy, however you’ll need to adapt to what cards are available to you.

Map expansion is in your hands. Craft the perfect map for your tower placements, but with a limited mana pool you’ll have to choose whether to prioritise expanding the map or placing more towers.Counter Varying Waves

Deck Defense offers a straightforward tower defense experience enhanced by a core deck-building mechanic. While its visuals are simple and won't blow you away ([i]looks quite basic, no wow effect[/i]), it presents a functional art style typical of smaller indie titles. The sound design follows suit – perfectly adequate but unremarkable. The core gameplay will feel familiar to TD fans: defend your base against waves of enemies by strategically placing towers. The unique twist comes from [b]building and managing a deck of cards[/b]. Each card has a mana cost, and crucially, [b]both the cards you draw each wave and your total mana are limited[/b]. This injects a welcome layer of planning and resource management not always present in the genre. An interesting tactical element comes from upgrade choices: [i]periodically you need to choose what to upgrade, with each buff paired with a debuff[/i]. Well, Rogue Tower is my favorite tower defense of all time. I've sunk more hours in Rogue Tower than many tower defense games combined. Is Deck Defense a clone of Rogue Tower? mmmm, kind of. Essentially, Deck Defense is Rogue Tower with colorful bouncy ball enemies. The controller took a little getting used to, but I mastered the controller in 10 minutes.
