Players appreciate the game's solid performance, upgrade system, and that developers are actively listening to feedback and rolling out fixes, but many find the core gameplay lacking challenge and engagement. The difficulty doesn't scale properly with enemy count rather than enemy strength, leading to matches feeling monotonous and beatable with starting towers alone, making it feel more like an idle game than a engaging tower defense experience.
not really that fun, there is no difficulyy to the game, basically beat it with just the starting towers. enemies dont get tougher it just increases in amount, 3x speed is basically 1.5x speed. it gets super boring half way through a "run". maybe check back in a few months but at this point its not worth 5$5 found this helpful
Trying to give the game a fair shot but there is something about it, it just isn't fun, felt like an idle game just waiting for monsters to slowly walk out and get hit by my starting towers all the way to lvl 50. It's not that it's a "bad" game, it seems to run well, a decently fun upgrade system etc, but to me as a long time tower defence player....it's just missing something.2 found this helpful
So I will start this out by saying as of right now I am a little split on if I should give this a recommend or not. They have been listening to the feedback given and fixed the game speed and fixed said typo. Don't know about the other issues we pointed out in the discussions for people like me who are creators who got early copies or were reached out too. But I digress getting off topic. They seem to slowly rolling out fixes and listening. So while not much communication currently on steam they do genuinely seem to be listening and the game itself is pretty good for what it is. Overall I would say worth a go for the price. Try it out you might get some good hours out of it especially if you are just turning off your brain and winding down. And I should test to see if it works on steam deck at some point which would be a big selling point if it runs on steam deck as this is a very good game if you love strategy games in bed.
