Deep Space Anomaly shows promise with decent weapon variety, visual effects, and music, but suffers from poorly implemented core systems that make moment-to-moment gameplay feel tedious and unpolished. Players report the game feels unfinished and thrown together, with repetitive shooting mechanics that don't match the engaging premise shown in trailers, and occasional technical crashes that further hurt the experience. At a dollar-store price point it may offer fleeting entertainment for genre fans, but significant redesign would be needed to make it truly enjoyable.
Deep deep potential which you see when activating the cheat mode and giving yourself some money to play with. Currently, Deep Space Anomaly's implementation is criminally implemented and requires a redesign of all game systems. Only redeeming factor is some of the music.20 found this helpful

I have played over 100 of these garbage dollar games but this one is probably the most fun thus far. It's a 2D space shooter game with lots of weapons to choose, variety in enemies, nice visual effects for all weapons and enemies, The occasional crash is the downside for me but otherwise can recommend this on sale.1 found this helpful
The game feels like it was thrown together by an AI. When watching the trailer it looks fun and engaging with space battles but when you actually play it you're just flying through enemies that should be the equivalent of space debris that shoots at you sometimes. Sure I don't have a lot of time played but if the gameplay isn't enjoyable to begin with I'm not going to stick around to wait and see if it get's better. The music is alright though. So I won't refund the game. Plus it was 50 cents.
