Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort top-down console reject shooters, and "Deepsea Salvor" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 6,000 of these on Steam, and almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. This is an ultra simple, vaguely ocean based minimalist top down shooter that relies on a wide variety of boosts and powerups to try to make an obsolete game genre presented so badly into something gamers might want to play. This was a bad idea and the game failed completely on Steam Direct. In the modern era of high quality bleeding edge PC gaming, these kinds of flat, lazy, lackluster top-down shooters just don't cut it. This is a dead genre for a reason. Even though this is "free", it failed to attract any interest for gamers here on Steam Direct for obvious reasons. This is barely any different from a browser game from the late 1990's, yet has been dumped on Steam Direct as if it's a modern PC game. This just isn't up to the quality standards expected from contemporary PC gamers. If I wanted to play "games" like this, I'd be searching for free browser games in Firefox, not looking for Flash tier games on St…

The game is alright but it really seems like the enemies get buffed far more than the character does, while its definetly "beatable" i just personally want to see way more character buffing options. By the way, there is a bug where the game speed scales off of FPS so my first time playing i was so confused on why it was literally impossible and so fast paced being 240 FPS instead of 60.

Great game. I enjoy roguelikes, and this one hes amazing potential. So far there are only three "levels" to play through (though you can hit continue and play the game endlessly), and a couple of minor inconveniences with certain ability functions that aren't as intuitive, but over all it is a really good experience and I can't wait for more like it.
