DEFECTIVE is a short narrative-driven indie adventure developed by CushKim and published by PsychoFlux Entertainment, centered on themes of purpose, humanity, and emotional connection within a bleak, post-apocalyptic world. The story follows Onnuri-480, a caregiving robot who awakens in what appears to be a scrapyard or abandoned industrial wasteland. Stripped of context and surrounded by decay, the robot soon discovers a child in need of help. What unfolds is a quiet journey across desolate environments, framed not by combat or spectacle but by introspection and understated storytelling. The game leans heavily into atmosphere rather than action. Movement through the environment is deliberate, with light platforming and environmental puzzles guiding progression.
