Игра «Defend Your Kingdom» — увлекательная стратегия с элементами симулятора управления королевством. Основная цель — защищать свою территорию от агрессоров, развивать экономику, строить укрепления и улучшать войска. Плюсы: глубокая стратегия, разнообразие сценариев, красивая графика. Минусы: сложность для новичков, долгая настройка. Игра требует времени и внимания, но оправдывает ожидания фанатов жанра. Рекомендую тем, кто любит стратегии с элементами развития.

I like it and its game play but i'm just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at it.
"Defend Your Kingdom" is a mobile app tier "match-3" but with triangles instead of the usual square grid. Amazing. I can see why it failed. You do the match-3 type "fighting" to carry the story along and take out ugly pixel NPCs. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals and pixelcrap "Art" instead of real graphics (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $5 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and download…
