Plot
You have been abducted into a underground facility where doctors are doing disturbing genetic modification experiments on people, but something has gone wrong and you have a chance to escape.Gameplay
The gameplay revolves around fighting different monsters the lab has created with guns. Lots of running away and shooting. You can play in first person and third person. You can also upgrade your skills with xp you get from killing monsters or doing side quests. The further you get the more you will discover about the lab and the monsters in it. Got 1 of 3 endings and I feel pretty confident I can review the game at this point. Boy, this is a weird one. I initially thought it was a ♥♥♥♥-post, and the reviews really kind of make it seem sketchy. I can tell you that this is actually a pretty good time. You gotta have a bit of a high tolerance for trial and error, though. The start is a bit rocky, but once I figured out better what the dev was doing it started to flow nicely. It's got that kind of 2010's Half Life 2 mod sorta energy to it. Dying is really not a huge deal, either, and as you progress dying can actually be a bit of a pressure relief from unlocks. The game has got some jank, yeah, but it takes itself seriously and I found it to be pretty creepy. I also played entirely with a controller. No complaints at all. I intend to try and get the other endings, but I'm stopping for now. I enjoyed the game and my time with it. I recommend it even at full price. It's a good time with replayability. I'll edit the review with my new thoughts at the top in the event I get the other two endings.2 found this helpful

Deformed is trash, but its fun trash. Its my kind of trash. You're essentially running around in an underground building that looks and probably smells like a Saw movie while shooting up monsters that I would describe as the bastard children of SCP and Clive Barker. The game is pretty short (took me roughly an hour for my first run) and is pretty much meant to be replayed since its basically a boss rush game. The boss designs, as far as the models go, are pretty badass but the actual fights are... well... trash. But again, fun trash. Deformed is gory, janky as all hell, actually a little scary, and, quite frankly, fun as everloving F***!
No esperaba mucho del juego pero honestamente me siento impresionado por él. el creador hizo un gran trabajo al conseguir lograr un ambiente mentalmente hostil en un juego tan corto, entretenido, y bien optimizado.
Finally a horror protag that can run as fast as DoomGuy. Surprisingly good!
