This spot-the-difference game takes the classic formula and dials up the challenge substantially. It’s not just about spotting a missing vase or a slightly altered color—some differences are devilishly subtle, making every level feel more like a true puzzle than a casual click-through. What really stands out is the art style. The surreal, slightly eerie visuals build an atmosphere that’s both intriguing and a little unsettling. This gives the process of hunting for differences a unique vibe; it never feels generic or bland. Playing late at night actually enhances the experience, especially when you want something meditative yet demanding. Be prepared to spend real time with each image. Progress isn’t a matter of breezing through levels—at times you'll stare at the two images, convinced you’ve combed every pixel, only to discover a missing detail you overlooked ten times. The satisfaction when you finally find it is real, especially if you’re patient enough to step away and return with fresh eyes. If you’re after a relaxing game, this might flirt with the line of frustration, but it does a great job of encouraging mindfulness and focus. Perseverance is rewarded, and that se…

Finding differences in this game was actually refreshingly hard!! Really forced me to take time to stop and focus - I had to return to search many times, forced me to mindful, recognize and respect when I was getting frustrated which lead me to feel real accomplishment when I completed a set of photos!!

Deja View: A Spot The Difference Game is a puzzle experience that takes a familiar genre and pushes it toward a much more demanding audience. Developed by Gemcraft Games and Bleeding Moon Studio and published by Gemcraft Games, the title centers on observation, patience, and persistence rather than quick entertainment. While many spot-the-difference games are designed to be relaxing and accessible, this one embraces challenge as its defining characteristic, creating an experience that rewards careful attention and determination. The game presents players with sixteen unique hand-drawn illustrations filled with surreal imagery and imaginative details. Each artwork is split into two sections containing a total of forty differences, a considerably larger number than what is typically found in the genre. This design choice immediately raises the difficulty level, as players are required to inspect every corner of the image rather than relying on broad visual comparisons. The unusual artistic style further complicates the process, as the dreamlike environments and intricate details make it difficult to determine what belongs in the scene and what has been altered. One of the most nota…

The best part of this game is the music-quite a variety of songs for each level. The worst part of this game is the headache inducingly minor variations between each image. If the game had a zoom-in feature it would improve it greatly-as it is you're frequently left trying to figure out if a dot is slightly smaller than a dot on the other side. The most efficient way to finish each level is to spam click around and hope to get lucky. I'm not giving a strong recommendation-it's mostly for people who love extremely subtle spot the difference puzzles. That being said, the game does clearly advertise that it's for detail obsessed fans only in its store page, so I will give them credit for that.

Such an amazing little game! Is it a challenge? Yes! But what a cute and relaxing one it is. I adore the art style and music as well. One of my favourite Gemcraft game. Works well on the Steam Deck too.
