✦ AI summary

Players generally find Double Detective to be a calm, well-polished puzzle game with satisfying observation-based gameplay, though opinions diverge sharply on execution and design choices. Common frustrations include difficulty spikes without adequate hints, unfair item placements, poor audio controls that force muting rather than volume adjustment, and unclear mechanics like items disappearing on click rather than highlighting differences. The game works well for those who appreciate straightforward hidden object puzzles, but lacks the quality-of-life features and gradual difficulty curve tha

I enjoy this game a lot until I get stuck at the upper levels. There is no hint button. I am stuck on level 77 and have clicked everything and there is one item that I was missing. So it get's a bit frustrating. I re-started it several times but... I also don't like the music.

Double Detective, developed and published by 626 Interactive, is a calm, observation-driven puzzle game that takes the familiar “spot the difference” concept and refines it into a clean, focused experience. Rather than expanding the formula with complex systems or narrative layers, it leans into simplicity, offering a series of carefully designed visual challenges that reward patience and attention to detail. The isometric perspective gives each puzzle a sense of depth, encouraging players to think in terms of spatial relationships rather than simply comparing flat images. This adds a slight layer of complexity to an otherwise straightforward mechanic, making the process of observation more engaging. What m…

fun game! some items feel unfair, but i just used the hint system to skip those. otherwise, it's your standard hidden object game, nothing outside of the box.

Worst spot the difference game I've seen. Items disappear when you click on them instead of correcting the mirrored side, making it ridiculously difficult to find further differences. Music is so loud but there are no settings to turn it down but only to mute it, and the music starts again once you start a new level. Plus, the controls aren't very clear or work well, and there is no gradual zoom.
