Demon Hunt

Since I can't give a "mid" review, I have to give this one a thumbs down. There are so many better survivor games out there, no point in playing this. It has potential though. The main problems I have with this game: - It is way too easy, first minute can be a bit challenging but once you get three weapons going it gets easy super fast. Almost impossible to fail a run. - The four playable Mechas feel way too similar and their talent trees are boring. - The altars and shrines are boring, they'll just give you +crit and +attack speed and you stack those up. Game needs way more interesting points of interest and events. - To unlock new skill cards (the base ones you start with are pretty boring), you have to do low difficulty runs. Those are mindnumbing easy and boring. - Items are boring stat sticks and the whole system should probably be scrapped for good. Focus on other stuff instead. - Elites and bosses needs to be tuned stronger and elites need way more HP and more variety. The boss mobs in general are fun to fight but their abilities just tickle you. Again, no challenge here. - Overall every game feels exactly the same, you might choose different weapons but that's it. It's a nice surprise/gem in a sea of bad games. Great value at a very nice price. Regardless of the games you normally play, I think this is a must have. Basically, instead of navigating a bullet hell you create one to fight the swarm coming at you. You don't aim, just navigate and the weapons auto-aim. Nice concept with very solid implementation. Many various weapons that behave vastly different and make interesting combos. Also, each weapon has 3 main directions that can be upgraded and you can choose a main one that gets fully upgraded with a nice bonus at the end and secondary one that gets 50% upgrade. Enemies have variations and the set/unique items bring flavor to the game.

Great quality bullet hell even though its still early access. Good assortment of weapons, levels, loot, crafting and progression. It's not deep, but its engaging. Current ~$7 is worth it.

I really wanted to play this game; crashing every single game, like crazy. Crash every 5-10 min. The 98% of these crashes occurred when having to choose a weapon/ upgrade, between waves. I'm done. Good luck to anyone having the patience to play it thru the end.

Very fun and easy to manage while having some deep mechanics for the tool-heads.
