Demon Turf quickly became one of my all-time favorite games. So, I'm super glad that the developer added this underrated gem to the series and even more glad and excited that they are continuing to make even more amazing platforming masterpieces. I love everything from the character and world design to the intense gameplay!
Pretty fun dlc, I liked it.
As a standalone sequel, Demon Turf Neon Splash manages to not only be just as fun and greatly rewarding, but also manages to be superior to the base game! Everything that made the first game awesome is all here, from it's fluid controls, challenge, and great level design. The developers must've listened to all the feedback, as they fixed and updated everything that was so desperately needed! Combat is completely gone, meaning all focus is towards your skills and maneuvering through the levels! They removed the finicky abilities such as the hook-shot and time watch, and made the glide and snake dash accessible from the start! Checkpoints are no longer limited and you can place your singular flag at anytime, and everything just flows much faster and better as a result! When the only flaw I can say is that the game is extremely short and I wanted more, that's a sign this game finally reached it's full potential and I'm happy to have played this game all the way through! An immediate buy for it's low price and hope Demon Tides continues to build upon what they learned here!
Some extra levels and gameplay tweaks that go straight to the point, focusing on providing new challenges to test the skills of platforming fans. I'd only recommend it to those who already played the original game, though
