Depths of Insanity 3

So you start off the game by just being plopped into the world as Slaug the slug. Not knowing what to really do you rummage around the area and you find a bugnet, with this you capture a fly called Sloppy (the fly) which becomes your companion. What sloppy does, other than now and then talks to you, I don't really know but it's cool having a companion. You then proceed to go around having an adventure, you can even time-travel back to the viking-age. That's enough about the story and premise. The gameplay is surprisingly fun for what it looks like, it's by no means a hard game but I'm guessing that's the point. Think of it like a point and click adventure merged with Mario 64. Ohh and you can (re)build like a "base" (for lack of a better word) in the same area where you start. The graphics might not be great, but that's also not the point. The game has it's own style and feel instead of just using assets and slapping together a "game", all of it looks handcrafted. I would give this game a score of 12 puppies holding 38 sushi rolls while doing the Harlem shake, out of 10. Edit: Also, I'm not done with the game. This was the first game of its genre(and in the series) that Ive tried and its been a very unique gaming experience so far. The game is clearly made with love and it shows in the depth of the environment and all the places you can explore. Be sure to save here and there to avoid backtracking, and have a blast! Loved the little easter eggs and all the indie music. A surprising amount of depth and activities for a indie game of this nature, and was pleasantly surpised by that the game expects the player to think and isnt just a handholding simulator. Highly recommend

This game surprised me. The pixel/old-school look brought me back to when I was a kid playing games, which I didn’t expect to hit as hard as it did (I usually play FPS and stuff). There are lots of things to craft, and hidden items to find all over the map in tricky spots! The game is really silly (in a good way). I’ve legit laughed out loud multiple times. The two cows in the barn are pure gold. xD If you’re into nostalgic games with a goofy vibe, I’d say go for it!

Fun game with a lot to explore and test. Fun voice-acting and crazy situations. Well worth a try.

You play as a slug named Slaug. It has humor and exploration is a main part of the game. I love that it has voiceacting and I would recommend playing it with keyboard & mouse. Just exploring the different areas and find new items to access new areas are fun. I found it cozy, and interesting to play. I can tell the developer put a lot of love into making this. A lot of different gameplay elements similar to old Zelda games mixed with Animal Crossing & Doom shooters. It's crazy! Will definately play more of this to see where it's going!

I had a really nice time playing this. Depths of Insanity 3 has a colorful style and a lot of charm. Exploring the different areas was fun, and I enjoyed discovering new places. You can really feel the creativity behind it
