Destiny's Sword

Great concept, do not buy. This game has been abandoned for 4 or 5 years now. it is an unfinished single mission with about an hours worth of playtime. Really hope the devs decide to pick this one back up because it was a pretty unique idea. Sadly, they failed to execute it.

This isn't even really a game it's a forced perspective visual novel at best in the middle of being shot at they defeat your team if you fight back talkin about "find another way" mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ YOU take your pacifist ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and shove it up your ass there's a time to fight and a time not to fight when the bullets are flying it's time to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots. I know how Machiavelli felt now watching his country be destroyed by fascists and tyrants while the pacifists stood by and didn't do ♥♥♥♥ to stop em but scream "find another way."

Decent concept. Basic visual novel game, but this sucker has been abandoned for over 2 years as of June 2025. Pick it up if you want story ideas and want to get into developing something better. But honestly? I'm glad I got this thing on a deep sale and didn't spend more than $5 on it.

Last update a year ago, game unfinished. Fantastic concept, poorly executed. Armor choices don't matter. Weapon choices matter once in the whole game, but barely. Mental health system is locked behind a branching story with too few branches, so it really only matters as commentary feedback on the choices you make. Many choices are very poorly telegraphed; do I deploy a nano-stint in a wounded patient or not? I have no idea what the risks are and there were no ways to find out before hand. I guess I'll perform this life-saving surgery by trial-and-error! Gorgeous art and prose. This would have made a fantastic comic book. It's a pity they sold it as a game.
