About Developer Daily
Priority: Survival
To earn the money you need for food and sleep, you can work as a courier or sell the assets you create on your shabby computer. Over time, you can buy any house you want in the city and furnish it with better furniture.Born to Manage a Game Company
Your main goal is to manage a game company. To do this, you will need professionals who are experts in their fields. You can either improve yourself by obtaining certificates online and become a one-person developer, or you can hire workers and assign them various tasks. If you prefer, you can complete your games by using simpler solutions, or you can manage the same company together with your real-life friends.Quality Equipment, Quality Work
By upgrading your equipment, you can create higher-quality work. High-quality games mean more earnings. Every item is interactable. You can upgrade not only your computer but also the furniture in your home to create a more comfortable living space. The Tricks of Making Games
The unique aspect of Developer Daily compared to other game-development games on the market is not just that you control a single character with an FPS/TPS camera. It’s the complete flexibility of your game-creation options. We don’t force you into anything during development. You decide what your game will include. However, you must take your team’s skills into account and pay attention to what is trending in the market. In fact, sometimes you may need to create certain types of games not because they sell well, but because the bonuses they provide support your long-term strategies.Management Brings Competition
Whether they are NPCs or your friends, you must pay attention to the people working with you. Randomly generated tasks may tempt them, and they might take actions that harm the company in order to earn more money. You can also use the same tactics against rival companies, forcing them to sell their shares at a lower price.Ways to Create Various Assets
To create a game, you need to fill it with assets. Each asset has its own mini-game, and you must complete these mini-games to produce them. If this type of work becomes tedious for you, there are many features that can make your job easier. As you progress, you can even get rid of these tasks entirely and focus solely on managing your companies.Real-Time Cycle
Bills, rent, and worker expenses. The best way to minimize their impact is to finish your tasks quickly. Otherwise, time will become your enemy. Don’t worry — you won’t have to fight an intense battle against time, but your projects also won’t complete themselves if you stay idle. What Steam players say

Pretty fun solid game. expected more bugs since the Dev is already known for some people with Stay Alive a project that has been paused / abondend since 2022 or so The tutorial is a bit harsh, not everything is beeing showed, on what you can do and How to do it. little bit tricky to get behind some game mechanics.there is so much going on this game, its a little bit frustating for the first 30 mins because there is SO MUCH to see for the guis and core mechanics the gui is (tbh) awfull, everything seems to be a little bit hidden behind some submenus, but you get used to it. game has alot to offer, like publishing games for other companys, buying real estate to get youre own company bigger or just to get some passive income from buying and "renting" it. theres a whole menu to work for other companys or even let them finish youre work, i would say thats pretty outstanding and innovative. havent seen this idea to get YOURE developing done by other companies and pay them. as far as i can see, you can even buy servers and host youre own games. but i didnt test it yet the employes have "needs" so mister X can only work Sun and monday thats why you get mister Y who can work on Tues …5 found this helpful
I'm not going to beat around the bush. This game feels very unfinished. The UI is pretty bad, there's very little feedback given to the player when things don't work properly (like not being able to develop a piece of software), there is way too much running around town for tangential nonsense, and there's a tutorial for everything yet not an actual tutorial of use. This is a cool idea. I would have liked to see more of these development minigames. But after over an hour and a half, I still have yet to actually encounter gameplay. It's just been me running around blindly, trying to guess at how to solve problems and doing fetch quests to get money (since I'm not actually a game developer in this game). I tried to see it through, but it's nothing but frustration, inaction, and an unhelpful tutorial on every single screen. The ability to decorate could be fun as well, but I couldn't get far enough to be able to see. Thank you to the developer for providing a review copy so I could try it. I was really hoping to see that this was an early access game, since that would explain things feeling so unfinished. Unless the game gets a massive overhaul, I wouldn't recommend it unless you ca…4 found this helpful
Developer Daily offers an interesting concept centered around the routine and challenges of game development, with a focus on daily tasks and incremental progress. The idea itself is relatable, especially for players who enjoy simulation or productivity-style games. The game does a decent job presenting its core mechanics and systems, though the overall experience can feel a bit repetitive over time. Progress is steady, but some elements lack variety, which may make longer play sessions feel slower or less engaging. The UI is functional, but could benefit from additional polish and clearer feedback in certain areas. That said, it’s clear the developer put thought into the theme, and the game may appeal to players who enjoy low-pressure, routine-based gameplay or who are curious about development-focused simulations. With updates or expanded features, it has room to grow into something more engaging. Overall, Developer Daily is a niche experience that will resonate with a specific audience, but may not hold everyone’s attention long-term.3 found this helpful
