Dig Down is a fun and challenging digging and treasure-hunting roguelike adventure game.
In each world you visit, you must dig as deep as possible before either your pick loses durability and breaks or you run out of time and get crushed. Each dig will see you face increasingly challenging monsters, traps and the opportunities to seek out precious gold and ores to upgrade your equipment, and find rare items you can trade in each world's marketplace.
As you amass wealth and improve your equipment you will be able to dig deeper and deeper, beating your previous depth records and finding increasingly rare treasure.
• Use the mouse or keyboard to move, dig and attack monsters
• Mine ores to upgrade your equipment to improve your ability to dig further and fight monsters better

It's okay, though there doesn't seem to really be any sort of real goal other than going as far down as possible. Smelting steel for ores becomes way slower than selling the constituent coal and iron for gold and making better picks that way. This might be the only game I've seen where hitting TNT and making it explode on you is a good idea.9 found this helpful
