Game fun. Mindless.2 found this helpful
Yeah its fun. I don't feel like finishing it though. I had my fun. Near the end its just grindy without any new experiences.2 found this helpful
It's missing something. Not sure what, probably a story and some non-mining stuff like constructing a town or something would be nice. The game was pretty fun for a few hours but there just isn't enough variety in the gameplay loop. You mine blocks, find slot machines, find random chest....and that's it. Also, there is an imbalance with money. It was ok for some time but the value of items as you go deeper falls way behind in the cost of upgrades, forcing you to mine the same zone more and more as you unlock the next zone. Contracts cost a ton of money and the rewards are less than missions for the most part. You also are limited by the number of contracts you can take at once, while you are always working towards all missions. Most of my upgrades for equipment or the mineshaft are $12000+ each. There's 4 different pieces of equipment to upgrade per zone and each zone has 2 mine upgrades. That's $72000 for a single zone. Yet I get about $10000 per run if you count completing missions/contracts. That's 8 runs for the zone I'm in and it is getting exponentially worse at this point. Run value goes up by maybe $500 per zone while each upgrade increases by thousands. For n…2 found this helpful
fun simple digging for a view hours but no story and no deeper gameplay, so its completly forgettable ...1 found this helpful
A really great incremental mining game. I like how the pickaxe can be aimed diagonally, as it allows you to create tunnels sloping up instead of just down. The progress is really satisfying, as there are equipment upgrades, tunnels and ladders, skills, and artifacts that can be collected. Two tweaks that I would suggest: the progress is really good for the first 90% of the game, but the second last and last equipment upgrade tiers slow things down considerably, due to the gold cost. I hit a bottleneck to get the 2nd last pickaxe where I had more than enough materials for it, but had to complete ~4 runs to earn enough gold to afford it, which was a change from the rest of the game where I felt I could buy something consistently after each run. The 2nd tweak would be to allow the entire skill tree to be purchased. Having a level cap seems unnecessary- allow all the skills to be bought, and then offer small incremental increases to stamina, loot slots, or dig speed beyond that.1 found this helpful
