About Dino V. Xeno - Tower Defense
Dino V. Xeno is a casual, full length, straight to the point, yet deeply crafted, and exquisitely fun tower defense game made to keep lovers of the genre happy. Take on hordes of alien invaders using the full force of your dinosaur army. With 10 fully upgradable dinosaurs at your disposal, plus 14 additional "special" towers and a slew of power-ups that can be found randomly on each level, each time you play can be vastly different. Both good planning and RNG play a role in making this a unique yet pure tower defense experience. DVX is designed to keep you entertained, feeling good, with just the right bit of challenge without overcomplicating things.
Dino V. Xeno features 51 levels, with both a normal mode for casual players and a hard mode for people who are tower defense buffs who love to learn game mechanics and challenge themselves. Not including the game's Endless Mode, the campaign will take anywhere from twelve to eighteen hours to beat completely (but probably more).

Nice and cute design, love dinos! But even on "normal" mode pretty frustrating sometimes. Please add an easy mode.3 found this helpful
I bought it because I liked the developer's other game, Second Rate Superheroes. This one is simpler, as it is a classic tower defense game featuring dinosaurs battling aliens. It offers plenty of levels and content, along with some micromanaging elements, such as manually attacking invisible enemies or clearing terrain to find resources and make room for more dinosaurs. Overall, it's decent. I enjoy playing it in the background while listening to podcasts or watching videos. The price is also adequate, so thumbs up. I think it's a dope tower defense game. It's got distinct damage types, good variety of enemies and part of the strategy is manually targeting debris in the environment to get extra resources, unique towers and space to place more towers. Also everything is silly and dino-themed, and the aliens lightly reference some classic memes. -Edit: In the original comment I talked about an infinite money glitch and the developer fixed it the day lol2 found this helpful
Simple but deep TD, really fun.1 found this helpful
Not even worth $1... The fonts are surprisingly hard to read. The art is messy, and nothing stands out from the background. There’s no speed-up button. The UI is very cluttered. It feels like the developer didn’t have anyone for QA — like no one pointed out these basic issues. These are fundamental things, especially for a tower defense game (or any game, really).
Seems like a really interesting TD offering, with a ton of flavor and humor. It is still early, but I am really having fun. The graphics look hand made, and are not awesome, but they get the job done. The controls could be a bit more intuitive, for example, the mouse is used upside down, pointing the bottom of the cursor at what you want. That said, it is a lot of fun, and seems to have a lot of depth, and levels. The one oddity however is the really long load time. I get a black screen, and it takes about two minutes before the game starts. Wait times will probably vary with systems I imagine. Anyway, a very enthusiastic thumbs up on this one.
