I saw pigs. My brain made the dial up internet noise. I clicked buy. Zero regrets. Dirty Piggy is a game where pigs simply exist in your space and that is somehow deeply comforting. They wander. They dig. They find things. They get dirty. They need baths. They live their best little pig lives next to whatever you are doing. Work. Homework. Doom scrolling. Staring into the void. The pigs are there for you. This is not a hardcore idle game. This is a “hey friend I am here if you want to click me” game. Stuff happens at a nice pace so you can poke at it often, but if you do not? Nothing bad happens. You do not lose coins. Your pigs don't unionize. The game doesn't glare at you in disappointment or punish you for going to make a sandwich. You can walk away. You can forget about it. You can come back later. The only consequence is that progress is slightly slower, and honestly that feels correct for a pig based lifestyle. This makes it perfect as a background buddy game. A second monitor game.
