About Displaced Defense
Thank you for coming to my page! My name is Austin and I solely developed this game. I hope to improve my skills and make better games. I appreciate you giving my game interest!
Displaced Defense is a traditional, open-world, turn-based RPG. The combat is not meant to be easy and sometimes normal enemies may seem challenging. Use your strategy of enemy weaknesses, classes, and skills to get back home!
Features:
12 Classes and Multiclassing: All classes are available at the beginning of the game. Your character will change appearance based on your primary class. Equip
a secondary class to gain stats and access to their skills!
A combination of leveling up and battles will gain you resources to purchase skills in any order you choose. Build your characters to withstand the hard battles
ahead!
Open World: The enemies scale with your level and you are free to explore the world to find the story of this new land.
Crafting: There is no one waiting to sell you gear here! Materials will drop off enemies that you can use to craft equipmen**t. The materials scale depending on party level. There is a vendor in the Beginner’s Hall to purchase older materials in case you out level them!
Good luck to you and thank you for exploring my world!

Great game! Challenging and in depth character building. Love the music.
This is a pretty good game for anyone who likes to do some mindless grinding and try to figure out how to get ahead of a difficulty curve. Enemies scale with your level, but so does the loot - in the form of exp, money, materials for equipment crafting, and potions. The game has an interesting plot concept that I would have liked to have seen explored a little more, but story isn't the focal point of the game. There are definitely some mechanics that you can abuse if you understand how the game works. The game starts off very difficult because you simply don't have the damage output to keep up with enemies and need to rely a bit on RNG - but once you level up a few times and start to learn skills then the game is largely just finding class combinations with synergistic skills and nearer the end of the game picking a character to pump stat boosts into.[spoiler]My recommendation if you want to cruise through the mid/late game is building a party centered around Agility control - buffing, debuffing, and pumping Agility boosts into characters with skills that scale with Agility. It feels like other types of party compositions would also work, but I didn't explore them too deeply afte…
