Divine Journey 2: The Five Books of Moses

I liked the first game better, even if the slider puzzles in it were maddeningly difficult at times. This sequel seems more like a DLC package instead of a new game. The collectible items (books this time) are easier to spot, and the slider puzzles were toned down a lot to be doable, but a new puzzle where you manipulate a quadrant of pieces at a time is even worse. I could not figure out the mechanics to that at all and had to skip all of those games. Wondering if they are even possible to solve, as you are always moving 2 pieces at a time and if you have an odd number of pieces upside down, you'll never get everything in the correct orientation? There are some other new game types where you put pieces into a scene, one of which is childishly easy. The other variation of this game has you moving sliders back and forth but still isn't that much a challenge. The music is exactly the same as the first game, and once more you get Scripture quotes at the end of every game. Despite there being 5 books in the Pentateuch, I only noticed quotes taken from 3 books, and the story of Moses isn't the bulk of it, as the majority of the game features quotes from the book of Genesis. Lazy ass AI-generated pictures Achievements in game, but no achievements on Steam and I played this for 1,6 hours

I completed the game. The story is snippets of the Bible that don't quite form a complete story. The puzzles are engaging and mostly fun. The only puzzle I didn't care for is the 6x2 flipping puzzle. I skipped them. I don't know why the music options are locked until you complete the game. I always uninstall a game once completed. The collectables are simply a completed picture of books and vases. You can't click on any of them, so they don't really serve any purpose. I do recommend the game for those who like puzzles and a basic story. Hopefully they will come out with a new game that improves the voices, has more continuity, and a little bit different puzzles.
