I appreciate the effort gone into trying to make this less repetitive but uhh.. it's very repetitive still. Played a bit longer than I would've just to finish the achievements, but imo there's way too many machines for how repetitive it is. It's free & cute so I'll stick with positive, but would be neutral if I could.

Doll Catching Simulator is one of those simple little games that I found surprisingly easy to get into. It takes the basic idea of a claw machine and turns it into a relaxing collection game where I can spend my time trying to grab cute dolls. I liked how uncomplicated the whole experience is because I can start playing almost immediately without having to learn a pile of systems first. The main gameplay is all about controlling the claw and trying to judge the right angle, position and timing. The claw has its own sense of strength and movement, so getting a successful grab feels like it actually comes down to what I am doing rather than simply pressing a button. I enjoyed that because even though the concept is simple, there is still a little satisfaction when I line everything up correctly and manage to pull a doll out. The collecting side gives the game a nice reason to keep playing. There are lots of different dolls to find, with rarer quality levels making some catches much harder than others.
