About Doll Defenders

THIS GAME CONTAINS A TRANS MALE CHARACTER. If you can't accept the fact we have ONE trans male guy in this game when we have a universe with more than 50 cisgender ones, get another game. If you can't accept it at all, you are not welcome here. Plus, you can support other gay studios that are only interested in getting your money instead of making a better world. Male Doll is a brand about creating something meaningful for Queer community; we make games that connect with our experiences, and we want to be honest about that. We support trans people; we have trans people on our team, so don't waste our time sending negative reviews only about this representation. That isn't a critique; it's transphobia. Doll Defenders is an action tower defense game in the Male Doll multiverse where you must protect the sacred statue from monsters, all while meeting heroes and unlocking NSFW scenes/animations on your way to the final boss. Prepare for a unique and fun gameplay mechanic that introduces players to some members of our cast.3 different worlds with 15 levels and 78 waves to fight! 3 bosses to defeat! 8 characters to save! 11 NSFW Pixel Art Animations in which ONE IS MALE TRANSGENDER GAY GUY! 8 Pixel Art Scenes in which ONE IS MALE TRANSGENDER GAY GUY!Endless Mode with Leaderboard!12 different weapons to fit your playstyle!

At a Glance Recommendation: Recommended with Caveats Best For: Fans of the Male Doll universe or players looking to support a long-running M/M indie developer. Not For: Players seeking romance, strong gay escapism, or particularly deep tower defense gameplay. Playtime: Approximately 3 hours for full completion and all achievements. MLM Tags: MLM, M4M, Action, Tower Defense, Gay-Centered, Romance-Light, Short Game 💬 Supportive Caveat Doll Defenders is first and foremost a tower defense game. While it takes place in the Male Doll universe and features unlockable M/M content, the gay elements are largely presented as rewards rather than the central focus of the experience. If you're coming here looking for romance, character development, or immersive gay fantasy, this is not the entry point I would recommend. 🎮 Gameplay & Genre Doll Defenders is a straightforward tower defense game where you defend sacred statues from waves of monsters while occasionally rescuing heroes from across the Male Doll multiverse. As you progress, you unlock additional scenes, animations, weapons, and challenges. The mechanics…

Premise This review reflects my personal experience with the game. While I aim to write thoughtfully and as fairly as possible, my reviews are subjective in nature and should not be used as objective metrics to assess/critique a game. I also curate a steam group which focusses on reviewing BL/Bara/MxM VNs. Feel free to join if you would like to see more reviews! :) Gay Games Vault
SECTION | SCORE --------------------|------- Gameplay | ★★★☆☆ Representation | ★★★★☆ Art & Direction | ★★★★☆ Replayability | ★★★☆☆ Recommendation | ★★★★☆
Gameplay — ★★★☆☆ Doll Defenders is honestly one of the more enjoyable Male Doll titles mechanically. Unlike some of the studio’s shorter VN-focused experiences, this one actually gives the player something active to engage with through its action-defense gameplay loop. The combat is simple, but satisfying enough. Waves move quickly, attacks feel responsive and the faster pacing helps the game avoid the feeling of “clicking through scenes” that some other Male Doll titles struggle with. The addition of Endless Mode was …
Slow, Repetitive, Unfun
The game beside the cute Sprite work, and H-scenes gives nothing. There isn’t a lot of “isekai” games, let alone Gay ones. Wish the game took itself seriously.
Negatives / Personal Gripes
- No story. The player Bio even suggest about them searching for a man in this world, where is that. You already made sprite work for the men, couldn’t we have a little interaction, any conversation.. literally ANYTHING , Like COME ON, the Pixel CG of the guys is so HOT! - Combat is repetitive. Hold left click while moving. Why couldn’t there be an upgrade system, spells, maybe the men you find giving you a specific buff or helping in fights. - Only 30% of players finished the second world. - Personal issue, I really really REALLY dislike the sound design, weapons all have 1 sound, and it doesn’t have that oomph to it. - After you finish a level, why can’t we have infinite stamina to collect the coins, or better yet. When we leave the map, the coins all get added to our inventory instead of us having to manually collect it - Not a negative but a Glitch: the mini gun and shot gun, have their description, and name swapped.
Overview Of Th…

This was a fun little gem. It's quite easy to finish and 100%, but meeting and learning about all the characters was a joy. Not to mention the fun NSFW images.

Not sure where to start. Is the game good? Yes. Is it fun? Kinda but it's really slow...You play as a mushroom and your only job is to protect a statue from different monsters. There's a lot of variety in the types of enemies for each stage, and some stages have sex scenes with either monsters or a humanoid character. I really like the game, but it's pretty slow and it gets repetitive quickly. Still, I think it's worth it for the price, you get 8 CGs of these sexy characters, and at the same time you're supporting the developer in making games beyond the usual visual novel stuff.

Short and Sweet! Story: 8/10 | There is a bit of an intro and there is some added information about the men and monsters you meet in a book. There isn't much after that, but it's on purpose and works for this game for the most part! I would like to see a bit more information about the world at some point. Difficulty: 8/10 | There isn't a difficulty setting. The difficulty is mostly decided by what weapon you choose to use. The very last weapon choice let you one shot anything, including bosses. The bosses can be punishing otherwise and you'll have to learn their moves but they don't feel impossible to beat. Art: 9/10 | I'm not huge on pixilated art styles, but in this case it's done well. The areas look nice and the men and monsters have nice designs that still let you be able to tell who they are supposed to be when it comes to other game references. Representation: 9/10 | Pretty standard Bara representation but with a FtM Transmac added! The devs behind the game are gay and do a good job balancing stereotypes and character traits you can connect without making it feel over done or out of touch. FtM Trans rep? | Yes, there is FtM trans rep in this game!
