Dollhouse: Behind the Broken Mirror

The game is super boring and not scary in the slightest. Every tiny jumpscare, like when a window breaks, or when something moves the camera would snap to that thing. Which made me think it was a cutscene, and I would just wait for the next thing to happen, but it wasn't and that's just annoying. Also you can easily clip the camera by looking down on a wall of anykind. It doesn't help that SOEDESCO is just a bad company in general, exactly why most of their games if not all do horribly. They did Orange Season very dirty. I just wouldn't recommend any game published by SOEDESCO.

There are many cheaper and even free games out there that manage to do what this one tries to do, but better. From start to finish it feels like you are stuck in slow motion. The main character moves at a snail’s pace. Sprinting barely helps and combat feels soft and weightless. Firing and reloading are far too slow, and some weapons cannot even be reloaded at all. Reload animations cannot be cancelled, so if enemies start surrounding you, your character just stands there calmly reloading while getting smacked from all sides. Okay, this game is not that bad. I can understand why people wouldn't like but I'm having fun with it so far. There are weird things like when you get hit by an enemy you're like gravitate towards them and can't seem to get away from them and then they end up killing you. There's one Parts where's the beginning where I had a restarting seven times before I ran to the end of the map and started shooting and all the dolls that way. And there's a lot of parts that feel a little janky with the graphics but the game is playable and I've been enjoying it so far. It's got an interesting story and it's way better than the first one. First game would never finish cuz I got so confused with what to do and where to go. This one's more linear which is actually a good thing for the storytelling. They give you tons of ammo so you never really get that survival horror feeling but because the enemy's kill you so fast you kind of do. The game isn't balanced but once again I enjoying it.
