[h2] ✨PROJECT: DOLL HEAVEN✨ [/h2] [hr][/hr] [h2] Story [/h2] 🔸 The game's main heroine is an android, raised in a laboratory but with a human-like appearance. The only strange thing is that she remembers being a scientist. This laboratory not only conducted experiments to create androids, or more precisely, sex robots, but also experimented on various alien species until they got under their control. Now we have to figure out what's going on here and put an end to the chaos unfolding around us. 🔸 While the story seems promising, we actually have very little information in the game. Just a few thoughts from our heroine, a couple of dialogues with a robot, and a few notes. [hr][/hr] [h2] Gameplay [/h2] 🔸 This is a JRPG game where we have to move around the laboratory and try to find a way out, while simultaneously figuring out what is happening here. There aren't many forks in the road, and the locations are fairly linear, with the exception of a few easy puzzles. 🔸 Additionally, monsters await us in these locations; if we encounter them, the game ends, and continues from the last checkpoint. Never thought that I would ask for a reimbourse from a developer from which I really like the first 2 games, even if the second one was way to short than the first. But this one is crazy short, like i finished in 1 hour and 20 minutes: No interesting characters, no dialogues, the gameplay is very boring and it feels like it's bugged in some areas, making them uselessely frustrating. But most important the scenes. There are like 8 in the entire game. It's a huge downgrade from what the developer has accustomed us to with previous games. And the art style it's completely different. Usually I would be ok with it, but with all the other negative aspects It's kinda hard to like it. Not that the story is important, but you can find here and there some pages/diaries. Why not adding a inventory in the menu so you can read them past the first time?

Now, I was going into this game wanting a fun porn story for a woman navigating the destroyed ruins of an experiment gone bad with plenty of sexy interactions. How through her dialogue and clues in the map, you piece together what happened at this facility while you navigate through. Instead, I got a hard as balls game where there is no forgiveness for any mistake and little fun storytelling. On to combat, the game does start out great in terms of difficulty. Getting players used to avoiding enemies and even if caught, leads to some fun sex scenes. One of my favorites was the Cow machine level. Though by the end of the game, any mistake was SWIFTLY punished. How you had to time your movement perfectly for minutes. I am a Dark Souls fan. I like hard games but this is just too hard for the kinds of players who play this game. Also on a technical level, hated waiting for that two seconds after losing to see the options for ‘Skip Event’ or ‘Watch Event.’ How after my hundredth death, got REALLY annoying while waiting for those two seconds to make my choice. Bugs, Bugs, and more bugs. Every time your caught by the enemy, it may black screen, or it my not black screen you tell me. Patch this game and I may change my score. *Edit* I'm changing my review, the concept is good, the art is good imo. At the start of the game your totally turned on it works, then after the first set of puzzles it gets stupid and hard with a lazy payoff. I like the character and the sex robot trope, that part is excellent, more of that and human enemies or even aliens would be good, but nobody thinks a robot getting railed by spiders is hot, nobody.
