Don't Knock Twice

Knock once to wake her from the bed, Twice to raise her from the dead. I was fast enough to do it thrice. Don't Knock Twice is a short horror game. Mostly a walking sim with some jumpscares. Not much in terms of puzzles, chases, hiding, ect. ect. Still, the game aint bad. Its a fun little short horror game. There is some nice interactable stuff around. I'm not sure if playing Pool is a smart thing to do while being hunted, but at least I got an achievment for it! Now I do have to give a warning here. I played it with a Valve Index. Since its an old game it might work better with older VR-sets. With the Index movement is a bit buggy. The option to use headset aim as movement direction only works when you start moving, after that headset movement is irrelevant. Works for straight lines but when moving across multiple rooms it gets tedious fast. You also can get stuck on random items near walls. You have to set movement to teleport to get free. The game was fine but can't recommend it for the Valve Index. If you want to try the game wait for a good sale. The full price it to high for how short it is.

a short lil walking simulator with jump scares. i'd only really recommend it if you've seen the film (i haven't) or you won't understand the story (i didn't), but it's good fun.

Hard pass. I can only assume this game is SUPER old? It doesn't seem to have any of the "modern" VR tricks. Turning is super slow. Can't speed that up. Height adjustment is a bit wild. I sit in a chair - and there's no "chair" mode, you just have to adjust your "head level". Sounds good in theory, in practice, it's a nightmare. Controls are wonky - looks like it's literally providing control instructions for another VR type. If the game got a "revamp" to bring it up to 2026, then maybe it would be worth another look, but as it is right now, this one's a hard pass.

It's short but it gives emotions that you want to get from VR horror, emotions that movies and games won't give you only VR and real life probably. Liked it, it made my evening.

Great game, didn't run into any bugs on my pc {running an RTX 4080 SUPER] its a short game but passes a good 45 minutes
