About DON'T OPEN
Heavy iron doors separate my little world from the cold hallway. It's always so unsettling there.DONT OPEN is a PSX-style horror game about routine that falls apart before your eyes. A normal shift at a taco bar, an empty stairwell, and a persistent knock on the door that's impossible to ignore. Based on real events.HOME IS YOUR FORTRESS. UNTIL YOU LOOK THROUGH THE PEEPHOLE. Your life is a cycle. The day begins in a noisy cafe where you prepare tacos and pour Coke for an endless stream of customers. You spend your evenings in an old apartment, surrounded by dusty belongings and “dead trees on canvas.” But today, your usual routine will be disrupted. DON'T OPEN is a brief immersion into a state of paranoia. There are no monsters or weapons here. There is only you, your neighbors, and a growing sense of fear behind the front door. FEATURES: Life as it is: from work shifts to mundane household chores — feel the weight of everyday routine. Disturbing neighbors: chance encounters in the hallway. A strange old man or a neighbor suddenly running out of their apartment — who poses a real threat? Hypnotist: a surreal, hypnotic event that will make you question reality right in your living room. 90s aesthetics: low-poly environments and shaky textures recreate the authentic spirit of classic horror. Sound as the enemy: knocks on the door, footsteps in the hallway, and TV interference replace the traditional soundtrack.

The game has a very unsettling atmosphere, and that was probably its strongest point. It does a good job of building tension and making you feel uncomfortable. However, the dialogue is way too long, and it made the game feel boring at times. I liked the gameplay overall, but despite having multiple endings, I didn't find them satisfying. It felt like the game was cut in half rather than reaching a proper conclusion. There wasn't much genuine horror beyond constantly trying to build suspense. Tension alone doesn't make a psychological horror game, and I was expecting something deeper. I have mixed feelings about this game. It's not terrible, and I can definitely see the potential, but I can't recommend it because I feel it isn't worth the time in its current state. I hope the developers put more effort into their next project because they clearly have potential. This game has some good ideas, but it needed a much stronger story and ending.13 found this helpful
DON'T OPEN is a psychological horror title developed by REVO Team's and published by STuNT that builds fear through atmosphere, routine disruption, and quiet paranoia rather than relying on conventional horror formulas. Inspired by retro horror presentation and designed with an intentionally unsettling tone, the game transforms ordinary environments into places of uncertainty where even harmless moments begin to feel dangerous. Instead of emphasizing combat systems or fast-moving survival mechanics, it creates tension by slowly convincing players that something is wrong long before they fully understand what that something actually is. The story places players into the role of an ordinary individual trapped inside an increasingly disturbing version of everyday life. Daily routines initially appear familiar and harmless. Work shifts pass normally. Home life feels predictable. Repetition creates comfort. Over time, however, small details begin changing. Strange sounds appear where silence once existed. Encounters with neighbors start feeling increasingly uncomfortable. Familiar places gradually lose their sense of safety. The game carefully builds fear by corrupting normality rather…1 found this helpful

A very disappointing experience, to be honest. The game lacks any good jumpscares, the story is too simple and generic, and the gameplay is boring - you always cook the same thing, it takes 30s to cook it, and all you can do is just stay there and wait. This is a clear case of a good idea, but a bad execution. Do not recommend this.
