Doodle Taxi's main thing is being a chill taxi driving simulator game. Enjoy this beautiful world as you cruise around and color it in while unraveling the story! Whether you want to drive around like a maniac or just chill out and listen to the bumping soundtrack, this is a great pick up and play driving game!
A GOOFY STORY
What's the worst thing that could happen to a modern day Taxi Driver? Not getting paid? Get mugged? No. A cabbie can get cursed by a witch and lose his sight. What if that witch is unable to control her powers in this world? What happens then?
WHAT THE CAR!?
This is a car game obviously. And we should have cars, more than one. Unlockable, locked behind some in-game currency. But don't worry, you can earn all these without spending real money. This is a game by a gamer who misses old days for the gamers who are sick of those modern tricks to squeeze more and more money from player.
STORY WISE, WHAT'S GOING ON?
You can play forever, there is a high replayability. Story part? Eh, this one is pretty straight forward. You can easily understand and enjoy core gameplay even more. It's not a Shakespeare, but this witch is quite the poet!
A BANGER SOUNDTRACK
When I say banger soundtrack, be sure that I'm telling truth. I'm so glad that so many talented indie musicians donated their awesome songs into this one, including;

I saw the developer advertising their game on Imgur so I decided to buy a copy and check it out. It's a great game to play, especially on Steam Deck. Just a few things that need to be adjusted: 1) For the buttons shown in the menus either have an automatic toggle based on whatever controller you're using, or slow down the rotation of the different icons. I know that there are very few buttons for this game, but the rapid cycling hurts my eyes. 2) Add a page to the menu or to the end of the story book at the start that explains what actions boost joy and which ones lower it. It would be a helpful reference for new players to use. 3) The nearly full screen pop-up window for each fare is unnecessary as there are no visible road signs in-game, so knowing the address where the customer wants to be dropped off doesn't matter. It's just Green/Yellow dot to Red dot, and repeat. If you decide to keep the window make it partially transparent and allow the player to drive while it's up, as the fare timer starts when the passenger gets into the car and not when the window finally decides to disappear. 4) The "Locked" window for the other cars in the Garage needs to be somewhat transparen…4 found this helpful

Peaceful, hypnotic, simple game-play loop. Premise is great - allows for simple satisfaction through playing. Soundtrack is good, very complementary. It's a great game to kill some time with, worth a few bucks for sure2 found this helpful
Very nice concept, I really like the aesthetic as well. I'd add a skip button for the cutscenes and intro tho.
