Procedural generation, lots and lots of upgradeable weapons, spells, perks, alien artefacts, strange technological and magical devices, enemies, NPCs, traps, custom events and hidden shops. So many of those, you'll feel overpowered. On the surface it is a beautiful isometric twin-stick shooter, but inside there's a huge emphasis on depth, variety, replayability and discovering all those amazing synergies that make your eyes pop!

The year is 420 a.c. (After Cataclysm). Whatever you knew as the Earth no longer exists. Physics laws as you knew no longer apply. Monsters, demons, aliens, crazy robots are everywhere. Only Hunters can survive this harsh environment. You are one of them. Right now there's a handful, but we're growing new ones in our secret chambers as we speak.

Nine years ago we had an idea, maybe a little ambitious. What if we could build the best roguelike possible? Well after all these years we're now here, at this point in time. Great value, great game. Not even the big dogs provide such smooth experience, both for UI and UX. But the grind needed to unlock stuff is a grind, no doubt. I think that is one of the biggest con of this game, and if unlocks were more doable it would benefit from player retention. Lots of unlocks, but not much replayability. Because unfortunately most of the unlocks I have seen, especially which could be random, were just percentage changes, which was not that exciting. But supposedly, there were hundeds of extra unlocks still. So I cannot verify whether those are more interesting or not.4 found this helpful

pros -design, effort, (in)distinct worldbuilding without exposition -jarring, unlikely weapon variety, and other stuff that makes you more -meta progress, in meta location that contains the gamestart -roguelike, and i bet it rates much higher on the roguelike meter than other roguelikes, in terms of stats. who knows what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stats cons -isometric acrobatics -changed the name for worse. call it (violent/hostile verb distinctly different to binding) of dracula. the first name was a bit weird too but thats just bravery -changed the front and center guy from bloods calebs cousin who has to deal with vampire stuff, to chuck norris. theres a character thats a humanoid hand armed with a green pipe from the mario franchise -bullet hell. i hate bullet hells i dont know why i keep playing them -a few bugs, but also some cheese.2 found this helpful

Amazing game! I love the art sooo much, and it's very addictive. One of my favorites of the gender. Highly recommended!
