This game is so underrated. If you like Monster Prom, you'll like this. Sure, the battle aspect might not be for everyone. But you can just make it really easy and get through it quick to focus back on the story part. This game is hilarious and has left me and my friends wheezing. It's one of the first games I've actually gone out of my way to post a review for because it's bananas to me that it's not more popular. If you like Monster Prom, don't mind combat it's very easy to overpower and are looking for another multiplayer monster dating sim to have in rotation, buy this yesterday.2 found this helpful
Played for a round solo and the game was generally just lacking. Characters weren't very interesting or endearing, designs felt like they were trying either too hard or not enough, mechanics are boring and UI is unintuitive2 found this helpful
The game is pretty fun, reminiscent of Monster Prom, but with a card battling twist. My boyfriend and I were having an issue with multiplayer and the dev actually went out of their way to fix it for us! They're incredibly responsive. I would highly recommend supporting them!
Absolutely love the game. GIVE US ANOTHER CHARACTER! <3
Doomsday Paradise is an absurdly creative blend of dating simulation, roguelike structure, visual novel storytelling, and multiplayer chaos that somehow manages to turn the apocalypse into one of the funniest and most entertaining settings imaginable. Developed by Lemonade Flashbang and published with Astrolabe Games, the game throws players into a bizarre tropical town where world-ending disasters happen so often that the population barely reacts anymore. Instead of focusing on survival or dramatic heroics, the game embraces complete nonsense, allowing players to flirt, betray friends, fight monsters, party endlessly, or accidentally destroy the world while trying to impress supernatural weirdos. It is chaotic by design, and that unpredictable energy gives the game a personality unlike almost anything else in the genre. The setting itself immediately captures attention because of how unapologetically ridiculous it is. Sunset Town feels like a place where reality stopped functioning properly years ago, and everyone simply adapted to the madness. Characters casually discuss incoming apocalypses while planning dates, organizing parties, or arguing over petty drama. The cast includes…
Great game! Did one short round to test it out and all I have to say is... it needs more playable characters!!! ♥♥♥
