About Doomtrooper CCG
Form your squad by playing Warrior cards, equip them with powerful Attachments, defeat the opponent's Warriors to earn Victory points and win the match! In order to play cards, you'll need to spend Destiny Points, the "currency" used in Doomtrooper. Defeating an enemy Warrior or attacking the opponent directly will earn your choice between Destiny Points or Victory Points. First player to earn 20 Victory Points wins!

Original Doomtrooper was way better than this. This game has a garbage UI, crashes often and has poor design.3 found this helpful

this game has a unique vintage vibe that i found interesting so i tried it out. just clicked me through 20 pop up windows, skipped the tutorial and started a game against ai. i noticed right away that the card frame on the bottom blocks the text when the text goes to the most bottom line so you cant read the text on the bottom. this alone makes you question why they release this in such an incomplete state. then i realised that the whole game is pretty much just clicking pop up windows all the time, which gives a terrible player experience. there are no real card animations. later i found out that the technology they used is electron, which enables the creation of desktop apps through web technologies such as css and java script. so that explained a lot. i don't know about the mechanics and rules of the game, but visually there is something there. But they did not care enough to make something happen, and neither should you.

If you hold ANY nostalgia over the physical card game or the Mutant Chronicles franchise at all, this game is a given. Sure the interface and rules overview can still be improved. But the deck building, card dismantling and crafting system is solid. Card packs can be unlocked for free if you grind for a while. But you should spend some to support the creators of such a niche fan product. If Paradox Entertainment was to revive the franchise, I would be over the moon!
