All of the victims felt way too similar, the kills were all the same, and the idea of this supposedly just being a regular person, but somehow having spectral super abilities didn't mesh very well with everything else. Overall, far too predictable, and not my thing, unfortunately.2 found this helpful
amazing game very immersive and scary 10/10
Shorter than their first game, but still fun to play. I had some good scares but I think the first one was scarier. I think there are some missed chances in this game but still worth to play. Some protagonists suffer from the "Survival instinct of a potato" syndrome. But it's horror, so it's kinda expected. I had it on sale, good purchase. I'd like to play their next game.
Dread Neighbor is a great mix of supernatural horror with a more grounded, "this could actually happen" kind of horror. I really liked experiencing the story from different characters' perspectives. At one point, it even made me wonder, "Should I be running, and the restart is actually a new character?" 😄 (That could be a fun idea for a future game!) The horror tropes were executed really well and kept the tension high throughout the experience. Overall, I had a blast playing the game. The developers have built a solid foundation, and with some improvements to the character movement, I think their next game could be even better.
Great way to spend an afternoon!
Great game! Keep up the good work
