Cool, start in a hallway with lots of doors- I started with 101 and was attacked by enemies (are they Sperm????) that seem to just swim through the walls, hit you ONE TIME hard enough to fling you 10', character is too slow to recover before the next attack, so you can get hit like six times but you're stun locked THAT WHOLE TIME so it's infinitely WORSE than one hit kill

In this game we return as Linda into the abandoned town from the first game, i think it is between act 1 and 2. The atmosphere. I really like this expansion but also could have been an DLC for the first game. So create a extra game for it wasn't really needed. Buuuuut it is fun and scary anyways. So if you've enjoyed the first game you probably should by this as well. :3

Really liked the original Dreadout but without exaggeration so far this is one of the worst games I've ever played. The Kami boss fight in particular is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, not fun, and hits you with attacks you have no way to avoid. Probably still going to finish it since it's a short game and will update by the end but man this game could have used a lot more QA (if there was any at all). Attacks should not come faster than you have the ability to react it feels terrible. Either I get hit before I can pull out the camera which takes way too long to pull out or I get attacked by two heads so close together I get one but the camera isn't recharged before I can hit the second. The gimick is you have to take out the heads and get close while looking away when her eyes go red. Simple enough once you get past the cheap attacks by the heads. But no you have to turn your player view away not the characters view. Your character can look all day long as long as the camera is facing the other way. This kind of jank has already ruined the game for me and I'm only on my first fight (Yeah steam says 2 hours but most of that is idling on the menu screen) Edit: No this is still the worst game I h…

Its a boss rush with very minor puzzles and a vague (and not-animated slideshow) story to tie things into the main game. The problem is that DreadOut doesn't have sleek enough gameplay for something like this. The fights are a mix of frustratingly slow or frustratingly "difficult". I put that in parentheses because its only difficult due to the clunky controls (which are endearing in the main game, but not in a gamemode trying to basically be an action game). You move so slow that many bosses are almost guaranteed to catch up to you with certain attacks- Nine Tails' repeated swipes, dancer's repeating teleport, etc. When you get hit, you also get knocked down and it takes AGES to get back up to the point that you'll oftentimes get hit again. The hide-and-seek game was also frustrating. There's clear guidance for her leading you to a specific building where you would always find her in the bathtub...except one time where she just didn't spawn. But then afterwards she just sort of disappears? She skips past the view on your way downstairs, but then nothing after that. She wasn't anywhere else in the building. I checked out in the village, but no more sightings. The guid…
