About Dreamland Solitaire: Dark Prophecy
Enter a world of magic in a stunning new solitaire adventure! Guide a kindhearted fairy, a noble knight and a powerful wizard as they pursue the evil witch, Jill, who intends to destroy the knight's realm and enslave its people.
The power to overcome Jill is contained in the cards laid out before you at the start of each level. You must remove the cards to claim the mana they hold. This mana will allow you to rebuild villages, erect towering castles and breathe new life into dead forests with a wave of the wizard's wand, a sprinkle of the fairy's magic and a slice of knight's sword.
Obstacles such as spiderwebs, frozen cards and fiery decks will abound on your quest, but the resourceful use of powerups will clear the way to the epic showdown with Jill and an ending you will not see coming!

This game is one of the cheaper solitaire games. Therefore, you shouldn't expect too much from the graphics, and you won't find any special effects like those in other solitaire games. But that's okay. What isn't okay, however, is the poor programming. By that, I mean the random number generator for dealing the cards is really bad. In this game, the replay button was the one I used most often. Far too often, the starting hand was doomed from the start if there were two or three of the same cards. But the problem also occurs with your own hand. Sometimes I got the same card dozens of times in a row, or with enough cards left, not a single one was playable. Card games are games of chance, after all. But here, the program simply cheated, or as I said, it was poorly programmed. And you have to buy endless new cards (which are overpriced) to win a level. You're better off spending a little more money and buying one of the better solitaire games.
Hi -- what a great sequel to Dream Land Solitaire -- good story, great background music, beautiful design. It has 200 levels + bonus of 100 (?) levels. I stopped playing @ Level 199 out of frustration. I played 198 levels with 3 stars & 1 level with 2 stars -- very last level -- I GAVE UP -- I found it unplayable even when I bought Wild Cards.
I suppose if you really like a game that is basically just stimulus-response with very little in the way of choice, just pure RNG, this is it. In its defense, this game does exactly what it sets out to do and seems to run just fine, with passable art and some interesting upgrades that you can get as the game goes on.
I've enjoyed this series as someone who just needs something mindless occasionally while doing other work. This final installment in the trilogy is the worst by far. The newly introduced fog element is headache-inducing, and the price is unnecessarily high for its lack of improvement on previous installments. Thank god I got the full trilogy on extremely steep sale.
Relaxing background music and cute storyline .. am enjoying it
The constant slow loading between scenes is a pain, if you can get over that it's a decent game.
