About Dungeon Legends 2 : Tale of Light and Shadow
Dungeon Legends 2: Tale of Light and Shadow
Dungeon Legends 2: Tale of Light and Shadow is a dungeon crawler RPG that draws inspiration from classic games, seamlessly blending the nostalgia of yesteryear with modern graphics and sound. As your city faces the onslaught of an army of chaos, your only recourse lies in exploring the mysterious dungeons of the long-abandoned Drakensberg Castle in search of the ancient artifact—the Dragonblood Crystal.
Embark on a Perilous Journey
The forgotten tunnels, seemingly endless and empty, exude a sinister energy from within. Whatever lurks in the depths is far from pleased at being disturbed. Dungeon Legends 2 immerses you in a game of exploration and real-time combat against hordes of monsters dwelling in the subterranean world. Success hinges on character development, a relentless search for superior items and potions to survive, and mastery of the magic permeating your surroundings.
Descend through the Depths
Grid-based movement, riddles, puzzles, and NPC quests shape the journey, fostering an atmosphere of mystery and danger at every turn. Engage in melee combat, enhance your warrior skills through magic items, and wield powerful spells as you descend through 12 extensive levels. Confront the ultimate challenge at the journey's end—the Dragonblood Crystal, guarded by the king of dragons in a majestic lava cave.
Unprecedented Interaction
Dungeon Legends 2 introduces an innovative AI-supported dialogue system, utilizing advanced natural language processing to craft dynamic and personalized conversations between you and NPCs. Your choices and interactions dynamically influence the storyline, unlocking new quests and opportunities. The NPCs, powered by the dialogue system, remember your preferences, fostering continuity and consistency throughout your adventure.
Key Features:
- Explore vast abandoned dungeons filled with dust, haze, and magic, uncovering secrets in the ruined castle's enigmatic chambers.

Feels like an oldschool classic with an AI twist - speaking with NPC is kinda innovative. Giving the low price you might give it a shot and have some fun :)2 found this helpful
Terrible! Graphics are poor, swinging a weapon feels weird, too many barrels on the ground with noting of value in it, fights are boring...1 found this helpful
UPDATE JUNE 15, 2025: - Game not updated, - Posts in Discussions unanswered: - No support, bugs in level 11 unfixed, abandoned. - ( Will change recommendation only if game updated ). *********** POST BELOW IS OLD, COULDN'T FINISH THE GAME, PATIENTLY HOPING I COULD SOME DAY. I enjoyed this game very much, loved it really, being a dungeon crawler nut. Even if I'm stuck now in level 10 of 12, as I can't find the Red Key to go on to level 11, I call it a win. Glad to have it in my library. - Decide minding these points: Dont put keys or quest items in the 3 quick slots, you may lose them, but put them *always* in your inventory. Example: you have a key in inventory. Click the corresponding lock with left mouse button, gate opens. No need to grab the key, it wouldn't work. - Saving: just 1 click on the chosen slot, not on the SAVE circle. Doesn't show a change, but the circle will disappear in seconds: close the save pop up, open again, and the correct date and hour will now show ok. - Rar/Zip backup your saves when you used all save slots before overwriting old ones: C:\Users\*your user*\AppData\LocalLow\Dreaming WIzard Games\Dungeon Legends 2 No problem that it can't save…1 found this helpful
Strange dungeon, very large, with unbalanced difficulty, im sorry1 found this helpful
whilst the concept is great, however the actual gameplay is slow and akward. little more work this could be really good.
A dungeon crawler RPG game with some quite reasonable elements and some not so good elements. It takes an hour or so to get use to the mechanics and quirks of the game and its game play. The atmosphere and sound effects and exploration are quite good, and the character progression system is basic but OK. The combat system is just about adequate. The "puzzles" are simple. The reason I gave the game "Not Recommended" is that it became unplayable due to serious software bugs around Level 4. No matter what I tried I kept floating off the floor or falling through the floor - like being in an uncontrollable flight simulator - to be delivered completely outside of the dungeon area !!! I think this is due to the game having serious programming errors and not being corrected / patched by the developer. I do not think it is my computer (Windows 11) causing the problem as a few other people seem to have had similar problems. However, on the plus side the game is very cheap and it gave me about 8 hours of game play, which in general was OK, before it become unplayable. UPDATE Since my earlier review I have played an additional 10 hours and by re-loading saved games have managed t…
