Stuck in an alien world, explore the sand dunes of Dying Sun to find a way to break free.
The desert offers several paths, and it’s up to you to explore them at your own pace. Discover an ancient ruin to deepen your understanding of the world’s history. Let yourself be soothed by a gliding flow, slide freely across the sands, and interact with artifacts from a long-lost civilization. The deeper you venture into the ruins, the more challenging it becomes to navigate. Amazing demo, amazing looking world around you and plays great to, if you love journey from 2012 you will also love this game.
This needs better labeling, so that players know this is a demo and not a game. With the context that it is a demo, it was a short (just a couple minutes), but cool experience that left me wanting more. Surfing felt good. the creatures flying low to join me was neat. And the music slowly building in the background made me feel cool. If I had a critique its that some of those hills felt like they should have naturally given me airtime rather than needing to press jump. But that's mostly a nitpick.
Game is only a demo, yet "demo" is not in the name anywhere
please make this a full game
Dying Sun, Honestly is a beautifully crafted, enjoyable, but short demo. Surfing through the environment is genuinely stunning to witness, the game feels like the world much bigger, than what you see in the game, it really made me want to keep exploring it, unfortunately I wasn't able to do so, as the path is rather linear. The control's while being very simple but actually quite good and responsive and worked well with the game play. Overall, I'd recommend checking this game out! Solid 7/10
Interesting Demo, steering is a little bit stiff, but can be done. I hope a full game of this is released eventually!
