About E9uations

E9uations is a single-player game based on Sokoban that adds the rule of arithmetic operations. You Are the Equals SignThe character you control is the equals sign itself.Move the equals sign to position numbers and operators, and complete the equation.Once connected to an equation, the calculation runs automatically and the result appears on the other side.Create the Value You NeedWhen you connect a number to an octagon-shaped target of the same value, both disappear.Your goal is to clear all the targets.Only the four basic arithmetic operations are used, and no complex mental math is required to solve the puzzles.each puzzle demands its own unique insight.Puzzle StructureThe game features multiple chapters, each with a different theme.Within each chapter, easier and harder puzzles are separated, allowing for non-linear progression.Hints are available for most puzzles.Hints are simpler versions of the main puzzles that share the same core idea.Other Features
  • Unlimited Undo.
  • 160+ handcrafted puzzles
  • Controller support

idk if Im even halfway through this game yet but its really damn good. who would have thought a maths based sokoban would be such a banger. like you would think how much depth can you really squeese out of maths? wont this turn into tedious arithmetic? but the puzzles are really well designed so the maths is fairly simple for the most part and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Im probably not halfway but this game has already surprised me with so many hidden in plain sight mechanics and mechanic interactions that Im amazed theres more depth to be explored. very good sokoban

This one makes my brain itch in the best kind of way. Actually interesting mechanics, the the hint puzzles help when you get stuck on a level usually. And a surprising amount of depth and twists for the puzzles using what looks like on the surface normal sokoban mechanics. Would recommend for sure if you liked Baba Is You.

Sokoban with arithmetic is definitely not a new idea but this game has lots of unique, cursed mechanics including the really good kind where weird things are just consequences of pre-established and ordinary mechanics, and the puzzles are excellent. You will not be able to guess what the new mechanic in world 8 is. The standard puzzle game QoL elements (for instance a "gain insight" hint system) are all here. If I have any complaint, it is that I find some of the rules introduced around chapter 5 a bit convoluted and moreover the game would probably benefit from a rule book that the player can access from a menu

There's a real lack of level distribution. More specifically, for schoolchildren. If there were a distribution for elementary school, those who know addition and subtraction, and then, in ascending order, multiplication and division

I was about to give up and refund this when I saw world 8's gimmick, thinking it would just be a generic sokoban game from there. It was not. Incredible game with so much depth, leaves no rooom for disappointment. My only complaint is about how hard final exam is. Maybe I just fluked my way through the whole game.
