Echoes of Undeath

I would say to wait longer prior to purchasing. Being EA there are issues; game breaking. In my case trying to play at 5120 X 1440P; I cannot even get out of the pause menu once entering settings and changing the resolution. Also, if you plan to use a controller, again, I would wait; its hardly functional. EDIT 1/13/2026: The Devs are really good at communicating; they advised that major improvments have been made to the controller scheme, and support. I can say, Yes- this game has a good foundation. Its fun to play and I see the idea and vison starting to unfold. Id like to see some smoothing on the frames, (DLSS implementation) but with these changes the game is fun to play! Give it a shot!

having only seen a yt short as base reference i can safely say this game delivers what it promised and then. i love the 3d styling of combat being a new twist on a saturated market. seeing a ea on front of a game my keep a few hesitant, it is a understandable point. i can safely say i enjoy what i have put in to the game and cant wait till further updates.

I've put a few hours into the game now and thought I would share my honest opinion. Echoes of Undeath is simply put FUN. It has a gritty undead swarm feel to it that starts off easy and turns into a hectic clash of enemies the longer you live. It made me detach and just hack and slash my way through. Without realizing it I had already put a few hours in trying out different weapons and cards on each of the bosses. I found myself using one weapon thinking it was simply way more OP until i swapped around my gear and card choices and completely re-evaluated. In its current early access state it does not have an endless supply of content and of course some bugs so keep that in mind for any early access purchase! What the game does have is a hell of a lot of promise. The combat feels good! The dodging reacts quickly allowing you to move in and out of combat zones with ease as long as you pay attention to your surroundings and don't run out of stamina. I feel like this is a bit of a "sleeper" game that shows a lot of potential if the developers play their cards right and continue to make timely updates.
