The game is enjoyable, at least it's free. Unfortunately, egg moves slowly... there are a few levels that are frustrating...
Good for free game.. Ive just beat all levels and I can say it's pretty good for free game
"Eggsplorer" is a simple, yet mediocre puzzle adventure game where you control an egg and navigate four modestly sized puzzle levels with various "rolling egg" moves. This looks and feels like a student project, from the unambitious game length to the lack of polish. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on …
As a standalone game this is kind of rough. However, as a proof of someone's skills as a designer, I think it is pretty darn good. There are legitimately creative ideas in here that would absolutely fit into a big budget puzzle platformer.
expected movement related puzzles etc, turns out the movement is not at all a part of this game, puzzles are also either boring or frustrating (mirror cubes)
