This is a game. It has chickens, puzzles, arcade type music, and a dark atmosphere. If you want to play as a chicken solving puzzles to arcade like music in a dark atmosphere, this could be the game for you.

Even my deep admiration for the clucking kind can’t save ells tales chicken. Someone basically made a game about poultry prison with terrible controls and classic resident evil game horrible camera angles. The story, or at least its attempt at symbolism or metaphor has less meat than a vegan nugget but at the end of the day, my pet chicken would disapprove if a gave a thumbs down so this is in her name and her kind.

There's a great deal of charm here, although it's more of a neat art thing than it is an actually fun game. The aesthetics are wonderful. I adore the low poly art style and the use of fixed camera angles (even if they tend to cause some grief here - letting you run out of frame and such which is very frustrating). I couldn't really get very far in this, once the levels start getting a bit more complex the flaws start getting in the way quite a bit. There should probably be a more easily accessed restart level function since it's a little too easy to push something into a corner and not be able to progress without restarting. Although even more valuable would be restarting where the level activity actually starts, some levels have a good 20-30 seconds of travel just to get to where you actually need to do the puzzle (I do like the atmospheric journey to the puzzles though, it's actually more fun than the puzzles themselves which feel overly cumbersome even when simple, but not having to repeat those journeys each time you mess something up would do a lot for the games staying power). 10/10 The characters' premise fits my needs of perspective. This might not mean anything, and I apologize if this isn't misleading. I don't leave bad reviews, all efforts are a perfect score.
