Celene and her brave teammates have already earn a reputation for themselves: this is why they were chosen to be the first group to explore the neighbouring continent of beastmen. The task will be dangerous though, as the continent is currently plagued by the same orc threat the elven lands had to fight against not too long ago.

[i]Elven Rivers 2: New Horizons Collector's Edition[/i] is a fantasy, time management game developed by Big City Lab and published by 8floor. As the name suggests, it is the sequel to [i]Elven Rivers: The Forgotten Lands[/i]. Like in the previous game, you take on the role of Celene, an elf ranger who's leading her team as they explore a new country inhabited by beastmen. However, the orcs, the same villains from the first game, are back, threatening the beastmen's lands. Thus, it's up to Celene and her team to stop them, along with a new friend to help. I'll stop my story synopsis here to avoid spoilers and all that. As for the gameplay, it is pretty much the same as in the previous game. You can choose from among three difficulty levels: relaxed, normal, or expert. (For review purposes, I chose to play on normal mode.) There are a total of 40 levels, with an additional 12 levels that are unlocked upon completing the main story. In each level, you're given a few tasks to complete, and these tasks can vary from clearing the river to defeating orc patrols. "Elven Rivers 2: New Horizons Collector's Edition" is a tablet clicker/ripoff of the "12 Labors Of Hercules" clickers. Click on various resources/obstacles on each map until the level is done. Much like the Hercules games this is aping, there's no real gameplay or meaningful decision making, even though, much like the Hercules games, it's pretending to be a resource management game, it's not. The graphics aren't as good as 12 Labors either, so there's a second fail. The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam Direct... they've dumped over THREE HUNDRED valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game?
