About ENDER OCEAN - Your mission: "Clean the Ocean"

ENDER OCEAN™ is an innovative environmental video game. Players control remote-controlled robots to perform underwater cleaning missions.

The game includes software levels where players have to face virtual challenges to earn points (pick up plastic waste, remove fishing nets...). And material levels, where they can participate in real sessions in natural environment (lakes, rivers, sea...) and collect real waste by staying at home.

A case study in flawed game design. The idea seemed cool but I have no idea how to control the robot. There are a bunch of tutorials, though. I clicked the tutorial for movement and expected it to tell me how to move. "Learn how to move!" That was it. That was the tutorial. No on-screen instructions. So I went back to the main menu and read the keybinds - the defaults being very unintutitive. Tried rebinding the keys and even then, the robot was difficult to control. I guess this is supposed to be a simulation of the real thing, but...it shouldn't be this hard to control the thing. The goal of this program seems to be to get people to care about ocean pollution, and to sign up for something - lessons? - in real life...
Before I played ENDER OCEAN - Your mission: "Clean the Ocean", I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
That, was an experience. After taking the time to manually reassign controls by assigning to random key to free up the assigned key heh.. finally got the controls somewhat usable. Having mouselook up / down/ side to side.. then keys for forward reverse strafe. . would be a bit better. could put the controls on each mouse button.. and or the up and down for scroll. The lil ship is a little topsy turby so it tends to float up on the front end a lot when trying to go forward. heh Maybe an ability to hold the lil drone in spot, then press button to mouse control the tool? .. also noticed like the mission to clean up and look for problems around the internet cable.. an anchor in the cable.. but no real way to retrieve it. hehe. The audio response for most things are nice. the voice over.. I have zero idea what they are saying, seems interrupted? Even with the bugs.. good grief this is a master piece if written on godot 0.o .. lol .. but was a neat and fun experience. sitting here pondering how controls could be improved. I'd just go mouselook tbh.. left click to open, right click to close, middle mouse button to switch tool. Then use the way it's looking to go in.. ie.. look at ground …
