Clean the Sea!

I really hate to give negative reviews, But there is no neutral option and it feels wrong to give it a positive recommendation. this is really not a long game, or one that feels fun to replay. Before I get into the negative I would like to say what I enjoyed about the game. - The visual style of the game is cute. Yeah personally that's all That I can say positively about the game. There are other cleaning games like this that are more than just "cute"... Onto my real review: Pretty straightforward game. Feels like those F2p Mobile games that spam you with ads. There is no reason to use your coins on anything except more money (and to rent 1 drone for an achievement) scaling is basically nonexistent, each level all the new areas cost the same, and the ability to transform coins into money easily allows one to level up their boat to clear areas Immediately.

Get "Spilled!" instead. There is no variety in this game and it's really unsatisfitying since you never actually clean the trash when it just continues to float up. While that's helpful if you want cash to upgrade your boat, it's tedious since there's zero variety. Each level, each map, it's exactly the same thing. I was also frustrated that I can spend money on various helpers, but most of the cash that comes flying at my boat for them ends up scattered all over the sea. I had six helper boats and I missed out on much of their cash as I can either chase their money or get my own by getting trash. The game was even shorter than "Spilled!" on top of that. Fine for the $3 I paid, but if you haven't played "Spilled!" go with that option instead. This game only beats "Spilled!" on the graphics.

Its kinda....boring and repetative. You have a boat, you pick up trash, you sell trash. Money is used to upgrade your boat speed and to hire and upgrade automatic trash collectors. Eventually you unlock new levels..... ....which are almost exactly the same except some of the background sprites are now Amsterdam, or new york, or antacrtica or whatever. Like nothing changes....you can just idle the game on the first level for hours and unlock all upgrades (like I almost did). Its kinda boring. Upside: you pretty much 100% it by level 3 and it cost me $1.....but I don't think it deserves a recomendation despite that.

35 Minutes to clear the starter map and antarctica, achievements end after that. Id play the other 3 maps and dont NEED the incentive, but an update would be great!! I find this relaxing and fun. Free youtube game/mobile port? Looks like it, but I dont care, I tend to enjoy those too!

I genuinely love games like this, and no one can convince me otherwise. I beat Clean The Sea! in one sitting, which I can't even brag about. The game takes about an hour to fully complete, and even less to get all the achievements for (which is kinda wild). You really have to like cleaning and/or incremental games to get the most out of this one. Thankfully, I'm a sucker for both. It reminded me of a lower-budget version of Spilled!, which I beat last year. That sounds hilarious, because Spilled! was made by only one person, so I didn't think the bar could go any lower. In Clean The Sea!, you start with a slow boat that can carry 15 pieces of garbage. You collect the garbage that continuously spawns, dump it in the recycling bin, earn money, and upgrade your boat. If that sounds repetitive, that's because it is. Hence, why I said you really need to like a game like this to get the most out of it. There's something so calming about a repetitive, simple, and satisfying task. This game surely isn't going to win any awards, but I had my hour of fun with it. However, it's certainly not without its faults. For one, I like to see my progress in a cleaning game like this.…
