The problem is... this is literally Roblox. I don't see the point in making an event game on a laggy Unreal Engine when Roblox is already well-optimized. Yes, the developers have created a high-quality gameplay component; I even managed to talk to them and find all the secrets on the maps - the problem is the concept itself and the fact that the Unreal Engine is very flawed.1 found this helpful

This was my first year being invited to Endix as a creator and I was totally blown away with event. It is such a smart idea to have a digital E3 style expo that people can log into from anywhere in the world and take part in the festivities. The expo was a digital city much a kin to Barcelona, with super Yatchs in the ocean and skyscrapers. Each game that was featured during the even had their own uniquely themed room which was really cool to see. There was a whole haunted mansion full of horror games. What was the best part was I got to hang out and chat with the developers of some of my favourite games. How often do you get to rub shoulders with developers and talk to them about their games and their upcoming projects. I would recommend anyone give this event a try. They had competitions as well with Alienware which was super cool. Can't wait until the next one.1 found this helpful
Disclosure: I have no relationship to Endix other than as a content creator. I've been attending since the very first one (2022?). It's a tiny team of developers bringing together a platform for all those gamers who want to go to a big gaming event but can't. The "game" does want you to set up an account. In the years since I have done this, I have never been spammed and I don't believe my info was ever sold. They send me an email a month or so before the next event is coming up and another a few days before it opens. This year (May2026) has had the largest turn out that I've seen. The largest rooms can get laggy. I suspect they'll update the network code and session limits to prevent this. It's a growing pain, and it is a good one. They announced they had around 600 keys to give away and they went fast. SteamDB says 2698 people have attended already. The event is not about getting the key, it is seeing a game in a custom booth and having a chance to interact with devs that made it. When is the last time you had a chance to talk with a dev in a small group or one-on-one about a game you were interested in? I got to talk to THQ directly on Friday. That was a first.
