A forgettable HOG you won't feel bad for not getting or not experiencing. Lame story, poor effects, and collectables that are so random that you will have to look up a guide to make any kind of sense out of it as the morph objects are NOT one per screen, and there are a bunch of different coloured imps that MIGHT be in the screen. And naturally once you reach some screens there is no backtracking allowed so you will easily miss them. Puzzles are not anything new, items you pick up somehow vanish into the aether after one use. Honestly don't know why they don't implement multiple uses for multiple ways of solving things. I would just make it so once you get the pickaxe you keep it till the end. Just run around chopping everything. Throw it at the ice sorcerer too or whatever. Problems solved. Also, I hate ice as a setting. Utterly boring. Apologies if I'm not giving the game a decent review - lazy game gets lazy review. Which is a shame too as I expected better from Artifex Mundi.3 found this helpful
FR/EN Endless Fables 2 : Frozen Path
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3721611170
---FR---
The game works, and most of the puzzles are good, which is not always something you can expect from "older" Artifex Mundi games. However, the story is bad, and, once again, Artifex Mundi doesn't understand or follow the actual mythology they are supposedly using. This is up in the top three worst portrayals of Loki I've ever seen, and I will engage with anything myth-based I can get my hands on. The other part that annoyed me was all the witch stuff, which I get, I guess, but it felt forced, hollow, and unnecessary, as per usual with this stuff.1 found this helpful
Nice HOG. Good animations, decent puzzles, good voice acting.1 found this helpful
It's a competent hidden object game.
One of the most beautiful game plus the story is exquisite, the drawings and gameplay are all so well done. But why on earth did you make the Bonus Game about Zombies. The developers ruined a perfectly great game by doing this.
