Looks absolutely terrible and it's the exact same puzzles you seen a million times in other HOG games, but this time they even reuse the puzzles in the same game, why have several instances of the same exact puzzle mechanics (they really like sliding and tile swap puzzles...). One of the worst of it's kind and i'm not even sure I'll bother finishing it after 1 hour of gameplay. Might do it for the achievements. I think i got it ridiculously cheep in a bundle (like 1 dollar) and it's bareley worth that.

I didn't enjoy this, but I couldn't really tell you why. It's a perfectly capable game and it does everything you expect a Mundi title to do, but it was lacking a fun factor that I can't quite pin down. The collectibles in this one are very well hidden and I missed several, but this might be the first time that I can't be bothered to go back and find them. I really just wanted this one to be over. For achievement hunters, there are several timed ones that require you to race through scenes repeatedly and I don't find that fun, either. The game mostly just felt like busywork which is arguably the point, but none of it was really engaging this time.

In spite of the story, the game works and has some decent puzzles, so I'm going to recommend it. But BOY HOWDY is Artifex Mundi bad at mythology. This was the equivalent of telling me that Loki and Whisky Jack are the same person. I suppose you CAN mix Greco-Roman and northern European myth, but why on earth would you? The protagonist is also dumb as a rock, but that's to be expected.
FR/EN Endless Fable : The Minotaurs's Curse
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3719196145
---FR---

This is an a little below average on the Mountain Crime Requital scale. I would say get this game, IF THERE IS A SALE. The game itself is quite mediorcre, nothing to really hook you in, the story was so-so, and it doesn't fully commit to the Greek mythology theming, as some design elements were quite Nordic/Celtic (and at one point, our MC says something along the lines of "like Thor himself hammered this down" and we were in Hephaestus' realm! Shouldn't he be the god invoked?). Still, it was a decent romp, not bad, not particularly stand out.

A pretty standard hidden object game. Nothing particularly special about it, but enjoyable overall. Typical gameplay, pleasant visuals & soundtrack, and a fairly short experience (I finished easy mode in a couple hours). The voice acting was a little off, but that kinda seems par for the course for this genre tbh. I did get caught off guard by the implication that the game starts in Paris, when every voice in the game is either American or British- As for the story, it's...alright. I'm really just being nitpicky about it. It's about Greek mythos, but I noticed some Scandinavian/Germanic stuff mixed in; it's mainly visual, with the very prominent exception of the dwarf character. Also, I was very confused about how the Minotaur got a whole-ass castle LMAO Overall, a very standard experience across the board, but a fair choice if you're looking to scratch the HO game itch. Get it on sale.
